The main topics of the proposed summary are: (1) The Source and Emission Characteristics; (2) Atmospheric Transport; (3) Dust Transformation and Removal; (4) Spatial-Temporal Pattern of the Dust; (5) Physical, Chemical and Optical Characteristics; (6) Effects and Implications of the Dust Event. The topics can be further subdivided into the Asian, Trans-Pacific and North American phase of the dust event.
