An Interactive Website for Resource Sharing and Discussion

On April 15th, 1998, a dust storm in Western China has produced a huge atmospheric dust cloud that was transported across the Pacific Ocean and caused elevated aerosol concentrations over much of the Pacific Coast of North America.

This interactive website was set up to facilitate spontaneous communication, data sharing, and collaboration regarding this unusual event. The community is encouraged to register with the People page, submit web links to relevant reports, data, images, and tools in the Resources section and to participate in the technical Forum , or comment on specific submitted items.
