Triggers
Triggers are simple signals or commands which release extremely complex, pre-set action patterns.
This process transforms the information
from an implicit message to explicit directions, from
the general to the more specific. Triggers are useful during the "downward" travel of
information in a holarchy. Incoming, abstract commands are
interpreted by triggers so that a detailed course of action is taken. These mechanisms allow
the organism or social body to reap the full benefits of the autonomous, self-regulating
character of its holons.
