Description
Abstract This dataset contains daily maximum ozone for the entire U.S., 1991 - 95. The data were extracted from EPA's Aerometric Information Retrieval System (AIRS) as well as from CASTnet ozone networks. The daily maximum ozone values were extracted from the hourly ozone dataset.
Purpose The main purpose of this combined ozone dataset is to supply the raw data to the Ozone Transport and Assesment Group (OTAG). Both the Air Quality, as well as the Modeling Workgroups of OTAG, are utilizing this dataset for ozone pattern analysis and model - data comparison.
