Hey Jeff, You say Heresay, but I say: comments of this nature were posted on the website a while back - as review comments on the original ENVIRON modeling literature review. If you're suggesting the whole sentence de deleted, I disagree (and think the points raised in the cited review comments provide sufficient justification).
