AMI works to support the use of reformulated gasoline with the oxygenated additive MTBE, as an effective means of reducing ozone-precoursor emissions from the entire vehicle fleet. AMI also seeks to develop markets for methanol alternative fuel vehicles and emerging methanol-powered fuel cell technologies.
