User manual example written and styled in XML/XSL
A technical user manual and online-help for a Java-Application (environmental measuring system). The manual is written in xml. Validation and wellformedness-check have been done with xmlspy2.5, the associated xsl-stylesheet is optimized for use with MS-IE5. A w3c-conform xsl is used together with Lotus-xsl for transforming the xml into html. The entry-page of the manual offers language-selection (german/english) and type-selection (xml/html). by Original Author: Rosenkranz Heinz

Using XSL to format XML into an HTML table
This example demonstrates the utility of using HTML flow objects in XSL. To provide a bit of context for this example, imagine we have a two tiered system. The first tier is the HTML browser, and the second tier is an XML/XSL aware HTTP server. The HTML is dynamically generated from XML and XSL on the server side upon request from the client. This dynamism is required because the data that comprises the page that ultimately gets served to the browser comes from several sources in a time dependent fashion. by Original Author: Burns Ed

A Filtering Example
This example shows how the MSXML control can be used to filter multiple XML files, and then merge the results. I wrote a DLL in Visual Basic which performs the filtering operations using MSXML. An XSL style sheet is then applied by the DLL using the MSXSL processor. This example should be compatible with all browsers.

XML and XSL examples (in French)
Here is a simple XML application which permit to describe recipe. this application can easily be extended (and is currently extended ...) to provide a complete restoration management system. XML recipes can be showed through some XSL stylesheet. You can notice the use of ECMAScript to calculate Calories per persons of the recipe.

I'm sorry for international users, but recipes are in french. I currently work on the DTD for internationnalise the application, coming soon !!!

A Set of XSL and XML Examples
This example provides several different data sets which can be viewed by applying any of the available style sheets. This example also shows the scripting power of XSL. There are several style sheets available which actually sort the XML data structures. This example works only with IE v3 or later. Netscape browsers will have no luck, but I'm currently working on these compatability issues.

For your convenience, I've compiled a listing of the files used in this demo.
