converting office2000 documents to XML
Dear XML Gurus,

Good evening.

One challenging situation

1. I am trying to find out various alternatives to convert office 2000 documents (mainly Word and Excel) into XML.

What are the possible ways (VBA or Java or Tools like Dynatag etc.)

3. How DTD and metadata comes into picture in converting Office2000 documents to XML. (which site I can refer).

Could you please revert urgently.

Thanks a lot.

XML and Legally-Binding Forms On the Internet
Extensible Forms Description Language (XFDL) describes auditable, non-repudiable, and legally-binding business and government forms in an XML syntax. XFDL was co-authored by Tim Bray, one of the editors of the original XML specification, and was also recently submitted to the W3C. This page provides a host of information about XFDL, including the specification itself.
